PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level that enables the perpendicularity and levelness to be measured without requiring carrying of a level body by hand and enables clamping work of a screw with a screwdriver or the like to be performed with both hands. SOLUTION: A transparent bubble tube section 2 for measuring the levelness is horizontally formed inside the transparent level body 1 that has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and is made of transparent synthetic resin. The level body 1 has a gripping body 6 for gripping, with elastic force, both side surfaces 11a of a plug socket body 11 that has a rectangular parallelepiped shape and is attached to a wall surface.
