PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a workability and reduce vibrations without damaging the smoothness of a cutting surface in woodcutting due to a chip saw which is a rotary cutter. SOLUTION: A high-speed cutting is carried out effectively in a part wide in pitch giving a change to a pitch of a tooth 3 of the chip saw 1. In a part narrow in pitch, a finishing of the cutting surface is carried out, at the same time, by providing a notch 4 on a turning point of the pitch, a cutting speed is improved and at the same time, the vibration can be suppressed.
