The invention relates to a gear wheel (16) which is characterized by a gear wheel (16) having teeth (16), a first respective section (24) of the tooth (23) having an outer contour, when seen in the cross-section, that projects in at least one subsection of the outer contour as compared to an outer contour of an adjoining second section (26) of the tooth (23) and is resilient and/or is resiliently mounted.
