PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner binder having a wide fixing temperature range and superior storage stability. SOLUTION: The toner binder for electrophotography contains a linear polyester resin (A) and a nonlinear polyester resin (B), prepared by polycondensation of a carboxylic acid component (x) and a polyol component (y) that is incompatible with each other, and having a peak top molecular weight of not less than 2,500; and a compatibilizer (C1) comprising a polymer prepared by reaction or coupling of at least two kinds of incompatible polyester resins and/or a compatibilizer (C2), comprising a linear polyester resin having a peak top molecular weight of less than 2,500.
