PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation device" capable of easily determining that voice recognition is not possible by language which is used for displaying navigation information. SOLUTION: The navigation device capable of displaying the navigation information by any of a plurality of predetermined languages on a display unit, and capable of performing voice recognition together with display of the navigation information, for one or more languages included in the plurality of languages, includes: a determination means (S16) for determining whether or not, voice of the language of the navigation information displayed in the display unit is recognized; and a notification means (S18) for outputting predetermined information, when it is determined that the voice of the language of the navigation information displayed in the display unit, can not be recognized, by the determination means.
