摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment reference chart with which a pattern for measuring geometrical characteristics and resolution characteristics are easily disposed on one substrate. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an adjustment reference chart to be used for adjusting the position of a member constituting an image reader which reads image information formed by an image forming optical system by means of a one-dimensional photoelectric transducer obtained by arraying a plurality of elements in a one-dimensional direction. The adjustment reference chart has first and second resolution evaluation sections, including grid patterns comprised of an aggregate of a plurality of grids, being parallel to each other for evaluating image information formed by the image forming optical system. When a smaller angle formed from the grid pattern of the first resolution evaluation section and a direction of arraying the elements of the one-dimensional photoelectric transducer is defined asαand a smaller angle formed from the grid pattern of the second resolution evaluation section and the direction of arraying the elements of the one-dimensional photoelectric transducer is defined asβ, the conditions of 5°≤α≤45°and 45°≤β≤85°are satisfied.
