The element (1) has a light source (2) designed as a LED-light source and arranged at a rear side (1.3) of the element, where the element is radiated with light beam (L), which is produced by the light source that is arranged in the light source. The element comprises an optical form, which serves for beam molding of the element and is formed from a partial section of an ovoid, which is provided as a three dimensional geometrical form. The ovoid comprises a main inertia axis (A), and the partial section extends on a side of a plane such that a plan side (1.1) is formed via the section. An independent claim is also included for an illumination device comprising optic element.
