<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire appropriate images for extracting optical communication signals, and to acquire appropriate luminance images. <P>SOLUTION: By an exposure control part, a first photoelectric conversion element is controlled so as to perform photoelectric conversion in a first exposure time, and also the first photoelectric conversion element is controlled so as to perform the photoelectric conversion in a second exposure time longer than the first exposure time. By an optical extraction part, an area on an imaging surface receiving signal light is extracted from captured images obtained on the basis of signals outputted by the photoelectric conversion of the first exposure time from the plurality of first photoelectric conversion elements of an imaging element. By an optical communication output part, signals outputted from a second photoelectric conversion element positioned in the area extracted by the optical extraction part are outputted as optical communication signals indicated by the signal light. By an image output part, the luminance images obtained on the basis of the signals outputted by the photoelectric conversion of the second exposure time are outputted from the plurality of first photoelectric conversion elements of the imaging element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
