<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method in which circumferential deflection errors hardly occur in the welding of a cylindrical member having a clearance in a fitting part. <P>SOLUTION: This is a welding method for welding a workpiece W composed of a cylindrical first member 21 and a cylindrical second member 22 to be fitted into the first member 21, by using a workpiece clamping/rotating device and a laser beam welding machine. The method includes: a stage of measuring a first angle positionθ<SB>1</SB>of the workpiece W that shows the angle position of the maximum radius point K<SB>1</SB>of the second member 22; a stage of calculating from the first angle positionθ<SB>1</SB>the second angle positionθ<SB>2</SB>that is the angle position of the workpiece W on the exact opposite side of the first angle positionθ<SB>1</SB>; and a stage of laser welding the first and the second member 21, 22 circumferentially while the workpiece is rotated, wherein the rotation of the workpiece clamping/rotating device and the laser beam welding machine are controlled so that fusion of the boundary of the first and the second member 21, 22 starts at the second angle positionθ<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
