Disclosed is a structure for reducing the axial leakage of a valve, in which a plate (36) is press-fitted to the outer circumferential surface of a rod (32) to eliminate space between the rod (32) and the plate (36), pressurization caused by gas pressure leaking from a gas passage (38) and by the weight of a washer (26) is applied to the rod (32), and the plate (36) which is integrated with the rod (32) positively abuts a bush (35), thereby eliminating space between the abutment surfaces of the bush (35) and the plate (36) and reducing axial leakage.
