PURPOSE: A cross-country type exercise device is provided to prevent a safety accident, to maximize an exercise effect of a user, and to control load. CONSTITUTION: A cross-country type exercise device comprises: a first post(110) which is extended upward and downward; a second post(120) which is installed to be separated from the first post; a first leg bar(140) in which one end thereof is combined with the side of the first post facing the second post and a stage is equipped in the other side thereof; and a torque control unit(170) controlling the torque of the first and second leg bars by controlling damping force.
