IMAGE FORMING CONDITION SETTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING CONDITION SETTING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming condition setting device and an image forming condition setting program that allow the result of formation of an image to fall within the allowed range set by a user, the image having been subjected to an image process for reducing an amount of color material.

SOLUTION: The image forming condition setting device includes an instruction-receiving section that receives an instruction to reduce an amount of color material used to form an image in an image forming apparatus; a display control section that, when the instruction to reduce the amount of color material is received by the instruction receiving section, causes a display device to display a plurality of preview images that indicate the result of application of each of a plurality of image processes of different systems, capable of reducing the amount of color material to specific images; a selection-receiving section that receives one preview image selected by a user from among the preview images displayed on the display device; and an instructing section that instructs the image forming apparatus to form an image subjected to the image process corresponding to the preview image selected by the user.
