PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal apparatus which heats garbage to produce compost or feed. SOLUTION: The garbage disposal apparatus 1 comprises: a horizontally supported substantially cylindrical body part 3; a screw conveyer 20 which is disposed in the body part 3 and has a rotation shaft 21 set in forward and backward direction; a hopper 4 connected to the body part 3; a necked part 5 of a substantially truncated conical tube shape connected to the front edge of the body part 3; a fine pipe part 6 connected to the front edge of the necked part 5; a heating part 7 disposed on the fine pipe part 6; and an oblique abutting plate 8A arranged on the front side of the fine pipe part 6.
