PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent neutralization of a concrete floor slab, rusting of a main girder made of steel, or the like caused by a water leakage from a road bridge joint part (a floor slab expansion gap). SOLUTION: Throating members (18a), (18b) separated by fixed distances (d1), (d2) from floor slabs (1) with the projecting tip parts facing the road bridge joint part (S), or rising internal wall surfaces (1y), (2y) of the floor slab (1) and an abutment (2) are integrally projected from expansion joints (J1)-(J8) themselves or/and the floor slabs (1) or the floor slab (1) and abutment (2) to prevent a water leakage (W) falling from the joint expansion gap (D), from reaching the rising internal wall surfaces (1y), (2y).
