PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium issuing device for preventing peeping by other users, and for easily confirming the state of a device body even from a remote place. SOLUTION: A ticket issuing machine 1 has blades 11 mounted on both the sides of the main body. Each of the blades 11 is a plate-shaped member. Each of the blades 11 is a translucent acrylic plate. The blades 11 are erected at the front side of the main body. A display unit 3a is interposed between the two blades 11 erected at both the sides of the main body. A light emitting part 10 is provided with: LED arrays 21 to 26 which make the blades 11 perform color development; and an LED array 27 for making an operation display part 12 perform color development, the operation display part 12 being positioned at the upper part of the display unit 3a in the main body of the ticket issuing machine 1. A light emission control part 9 controls the light emission quantity of the LED of each luminescent color for each of the LED arrays 21 to 27 in response to the state of the main body of the ticket issuing machine 1.
