摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional accuracy in rolling products by offsetting the dimensional variation in the width direction by the dimensional control in the rolling reduction direction and the tension variation between stands in the continuous rolling of a steel bar and wire. CONSTITUTION:A tension correction quantity DELTATi is operated by inputting the rolling reduction position target value correction value DELTASi of #i stand simultaneously with inputting it to a rolling reduction device 1. The tension between stands #i, #i-1 is controlled so as to become Ti+DELTATi by inputting this tension correction quantity DELTATi to a rotary speed arithmetic unit 16 by adding it to the tension set value Ti and by controlling the rotary speed of a motor 14 via a speed control device 15. The tension correction quantity DELTATi-1 is calculated by inputting the rolling reduction position target value correction quantity DELTASi-1 to the rolling reduction device 11 and by inputting to an arithmetic unit 13 as well. The rotary speed of a driving motor 24 is controlled via a speed control device 25 so that the tension between stands #i-1, #i-2 becomes Ti-1+DELTATi-1 by adding this correction quantity DELTATi-1 to the tension set value Ti-1 and by inputting to a rotary speed arithmetic unit 25.</p>
