The device comprises a ventilation ring (1), which is fastened on a toilet (5), an air supply duct (2), and an air exhaust duct (3), which opens at the interior edge of the ventilation ring. The air supply duct is connected with an excess pressure generator and the air exhaust duct is connected with a negative pressure generator. The excess pressure generator and the negative pressure generator are formed with a fan (23,33). The ventilation ring has a pressure sensor for controlling the excess pressure generator and the negative pressure generator.
