<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard power generation device that is compact and light in weight with high power, by directly setting power generation output using a permanent magnet to a constant voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The permanent magnet 11 and electromagnet 12 are provided in tandem in a rotor 13 of an alternator 10 operated by receiving driving force of an engine 2. Each of a magnetic field by the electromagnet 11 and a magnetic field by the electromagnet 12 act on a stator coil of a stator 14, independently. When a voltage value, where output of the alternator 10 is rectified by a rectifier 20, is lower than a prescribed value, a power generation controller 50 allows a forward current to flow in a field coil 12a to generate a magnetic field in the same direction as that of the magnetic field by the permanent magnet 11. When the voltage value, where the output of the alternator 10 is rectified by the rectifier 20, is higher than the prescribed value, the power generation controller 50 allows a reverse current to flow in the field coil 12a to generate a magnetic field reverse to the magnetic field by the permanent magnet 11, thus directly making the output of the alternator 10 constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
