<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method capable of discharging air bubbles while suppressing consumption of a fluid, and to provide a fluid jetting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning method for a printer includes: a fluid jetting head 24 provided with a plurality of nozzle openings for jetting ink; an ink feeding tube for feeding the ink toward the fluid jetting head 24 side; an opening/closing valve provided on the ink feeding tube; and a capping apparatus 41 for pressure-reducing a space region R outside a nozzle opening. The cleaning method includes: a valve closing process for making the opening/closing valve under a valve closing condition; and a vacuum process in which after the valve closing process, a negative pressure is generated in the space region R by a capping apparatus 41, to expand and making out the ink from the nozzle 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
