PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid for wearing a garment, an aid that can be used always when an aged person for example wears an ordinary shirt or a blouse, that can effectively reduce a load incidental to wearing motion of these garments, and that can provide the same appearance as the ordinary shirt or blouse is worn even with the aid in use. SOLUTION: The aid 1 for wearing a garment is composed of: a nearly circular first sheet body 2 in which a notch 4 for inserting a button is provided and in which a plurality of engaging projections 5, 5... and loops 6, 6... are planted on the front surface; and a second sheet body 3 having a nearly identical outline as the first sheet body 2, a button sewn on the front surface, and the rear surface having a plurality of planted loops 6, 6... and engaging projections 5, 5... that can engage with the engaging bodies.
