The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically counting surgical gauzes, comprising: a container for containing gauzes to which X-ray opaque markers are attached; a support for supporting the container; an imaging apparatus which takes images of the interior of the container at various angles using X-ray; a controller which receives information on images of the interior of the container from the imaging apparatus and calculates the number of markers in the container using the received information on images; and a display which receives the calculated number of markers from the controller and displays the number of markers. |
