<p>PURPOSE: An SNP in an adiponectin-coding gene as a marker for human blood fatty acid composition is provided to determine prognosis of various lipid metabolic disorder. CONSTITUTION: A kit for analyzing human blood fatty acid composition is a SNP site of ADIPOQ gene. The kit contains a primer or probe which specifically binds to 10-100 serial nucleotide sequences containing SNP site(GenBank SNP database, rs 1501299) with 11th nucleotide, G, of sequence number 1. A G allele is GG homozygote. The kit is applied to Asian. A method for detecting a marker of the blood fatty acid composition comprises a step of detecting the SNP site(rs1501299) in a human body sample.</p> |
