PURPOSE: A sub power supply device of home appliances using a smart grid is provided to notify home appliances of a complete charging state by communication, thereby using charged electricity as operating power of home appliances. CONSTITUTION: A sub power supply device(200) forms an appearance by a square case(210). The sub power supply device is coupled with an outlet to receive charging power. A connecting plug(300) communicates with an energy managing device. The connecting plug comprises a plug communication unit(360), a switch(340), and a switch driving unit(320).
