<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-automatic gas filling device for requiring less working labor for manual operation by manually moving a filling unit which is mounted on a gas filling valve of a cylinder for filling gas from a gas supply source to the cylinder, down from a standby position above the cylinder and mounting the filling unit on the gas filling valve of the cylinder, and then automatically filling gas and automatically returning the filling unit to the standby position after finishing the filling of the gas. <P>SOLUTION: An up-and-down moving actuator 21 is provided for moving the filling unit 5 up and down.
