FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: adjustable nozzle of jet turbine engine refers to aircraft engine building industry, and namely to design of adjustable nozzle of jet turbine engine. Adjustable nozzle of jet turbine engine includes housing with hinged flaps equipped with transverse ribs forming slots and sealing inserts located between them. Sealing inserts are suspended on flaps by means of yokes with lugs taken to slots of flaps. Each flap is provided at slot location point on the side of its outer surface at least with one plate connected to flap by means of longitudinal ribs forming cooling air channels. ^ EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability and service life of nozzle of jet turbine engine owing to decreasing the temperature of nozzle elements and wear of their friction surfaces. ^ 2 dwg
