PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a blade type fuse which firmly maintains fixing force between an insulated housing and a fuse element even though the blade type fuse is miniaturized and applicable to practical use. SOLUTION: Recessed parts 6A are arranged on the surface of a plate-like conductive terminal 1A(a) come in contact with the insulated housing 2A, and unevenness is formed by the recessed parts 6A and the surface of the plate-like conductive terminal 1A(a). Then, the insulated housing 2A is melted by indirectly heating the insulated housing by heating the plate-like conductive terminal 1A(a). An amount melted into the surface of the plate-like conductive terminal 1A(a) can be lessened since parts 3A(1) and 3A(2) of the melted insulated housing 2A are flowed into the recessed parts 6A.
