<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which can increase luminance sufficiently as compared with a conventional device. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes a solid light source 5 which emits light of a predetermined wavelength among wavelength regions from ultraviolet light to visible light, and a reflection type phosphor rotator 11 which can rotate around a rotational axis X. The phosphor rotator 11 includes a phosphor layer 12 excited by excitation light from the solid light source 5, and a substrate 16 with light reflectivity. A light-reflective wall 16a surrounding the phosphor layer 12 is arranged on the substrate 16, and the light-reflective wall 16a is arranged radially from a center not only around a circumference part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
