<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game to which an object arrangement method which does not make displays on a game screen look something unnatural even when objects are arranged in positions different from preset positions. <P>SOLUTION: Intended appearance points YP1 to 4 as a candidate for an appearance point SP where an enemy character EC making a momentary movement is made to appear are set around a specific point TP as the position of a player character PC. The game device decides whether there is an obstacle OBJ on plane line segments M as line segments sequentially connecting the intended appearance points to the specific point TP, beginning with YP1. When deciding that there is no obstacle on the plane line segment M, the device chooses the point as the appearance point and makes the enemy character EC making a momentary movement appear there. Consequently, the game device can restrain such an unnatural condition as the appearing enemy character EC lying over the obstacle OBJ1 or an obstacle OBJ2 between the enemy character EC and the player character PC hindering an attack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
