摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a defect by using a three-point bending testing device of wood and a laminated veneer material, and to measure simultaneously a bending Young's modulus and a shear modulus. SOLUTION: A bending deflection shape measuring device incorporated into the three-point bending testing device includes a movable noncontact displacement gage 4, its sending device 5, a sending amount control device 6, a sending amount measuring device 7, a data recording device 8 and a data analyzer 9. The sending amount measuring device 7 utilizes a digital scale, and uses highly-accurate bending deflection shape data acquired therefrom, to thereby detect defects of the wood and the laminated veneer material. The defects include a knot or cross gain of the wood, or adhesion failure or excessive lap joint of the laminated veneer material.
