PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform A/D conversion of each of a plurality of analog signals at exact time intervals by one A/D converter. SOLUTION: A microcomputer of an ECU which controls an engine has a multichannel A/D conversion part which switches analog signals to a plurality of input terminals to perform the A/D conversion by the one A/D converter. Then, the A/D conversion part is constituted to perform the A/D conversion of an analog signal of a channel corresponding to a trigger signal whenever the trigger signal is output from a timer corresponding to each channel. Consequently, output timings of the trigger signals of each timer are mutually shifted so that the A/D conversion of each analog signal does not overlap. Then, a CPU of the microcomputer determines whether time difference is at an abnormal state which is not a normal value (S220), if the time difference is in the abnormal state (S230: YES), operates all the timers from states when operation start again (S250).
