<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility that a terminal session might be temporarily cut off when a server is powered off. <P>SOLUTION: A load distribution control part, when receiving a packet from a terminal having no entries on a session table, establishes a session with any server whose state information in a power control table indicates that power is on, and creates a new entry in the session table. Thereafter, the load distribution control part writes the result of determination as to whether instructions to turn the power on or off to the server are required on a power plan table according to the amount of services of all entries in the session table. When the power of the server is turned off, a power control scheduler part determines the server whose power should be turned off from the severs whose state information in the power control table indicates that power is on, then writes power off in the server's state information in the power control table, and when the entries of the server disappear from the session table, instructs that a packet instructing the power to the server to be turned off be issued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
