<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which extensively shortens a cloth drying speed. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a human sensor detecting a human within a residence, an outlet blowing out air heat-exchanged by a heat exchanger, and a wind direction changing means for horizontally and vertically changing an air blowing direction from the outlet. When carrying out a cloth drying mode operation being reheating dehumidifying operation, a location of moist clothes is detected by the human sensor, and the wind direction changing means is controlled such that blown air is directed to the detected location.
