PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web winding shaft which is used for the coreless type web winding, large in expansion and contraction amount in the radial direction, easily drawn out of a winding web as a product, and capable of enhancing the percentage of completion and the working efficiency of the winding web as the product. SOLUTION: In the web winding shaft in which a cylindrical elastic body is arranged on an outer circumference of a cylindrical shaft, a plurality of flat tubes extending in the axial direction of the shaft are arranged between an outer circumferential surface of the shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical elastic body with the predetermined spacing in the circumferential direction of the shaft. Fluid is supplied into the plurality of flat tubes. When the fluid is discharged outside the plurality of flat tubes, the size in the radial direction of the cylindrical elastic body is expanded or contracted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
