The invention relates to recreational and sport fishing. The float has a body in the form of a floating ball consisting of two half-spheres joined by two connectors Ø5mm and through the centre of which a straight bar or balance rod passes that has arms of unequal length at a ratio of 1:3, wherein a bright drop-shaped signalling device is situated at the end of the long arm. In order to balance the structure, a counterweight or load having an opening therein moves along the short arm. At the point where the two arms diverge, a cross member made of the same material and having sides of 10mm is situated on the bar and is rigidly connected thereto perpendicular to the bar. The sides of the cross member pass through openings in the centre of the flat sides of the half-spheres of the body and can rotate freely inside the body. The fishing line passes from the rod through guide rings situated along the bar and exits via an end guide ring on the short part to the hook and bait. The float is weighted by means of a round weight situated below the body of the float and partially secured in each of the half-spheres. Simplifying the structure significantly improves the aerodynamics of the float during casting. As a result, a float with a large mass has greater sensitivity, and the signalling device is visible from afar and can be used efficiently for long distance fishing.
