PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high mixing efficiency of steam and air even when time elapses. SOLUTION: The steam generated inside an inner pot 13 intrudes through a steam hole 31 into the steam exhaust chamber 39 of a lid body 2 and is discharged from steam discharge ports 2a, 2a to the outside. A sirocco fan 32 is installed inside a fan housing chamber 44 in the lid body 2, and the generated cooling air is blown off from an air blow-off port 2b to the outside toward the side of the steam discharge port 2a. In such a manner, the discharge path of the steam and the blow-off path of the cooling air are completely separated inside a rice cooker body 1, and the steam and the cooling air discharged to the outside of the rice cooker body 1 through the paths independent of each other are mixed in an open space. Thus, the steam is efficiently mixed with the cooling air even when the time elapses, the steam is easily diluted, the heat of the steam is dispersed, and the temperature is rapidly lowered.
