PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus and program, capable of giving information to assist user's decision when a user visually observes an object to make a decision on the object to the user. SOLUTION: A base point designation unit 18b sets base points in an image based on image data according to a designation input through an input device. A reference point calculation unit 18g sets reference points for extracting a feature of the image inside and outside a region based on the base points. A defect size calculation unit 18e calculates spacial coordinates of the base point to perform measurements on the object. A feature information generation unit 18h generates feature information indicating the feature of the image at the referent points based on information on the image at the reference points.
