The element has a hollow rivet (3) provided with a rivet head and a rivet shank end, where the length of the rivet shank end is larger than the height of a socket (2). Internal diameter of the socket is measured such that the socket is attached to the rivet shank end and an end of the rivet shank end protrudes from the socket. The end of the rivet shank end faces away from the rivet head. Outer diameter of the socket is smaller than the outer diameter of the rivet head. A lower side of the rivet head rests against the socket. The socket is made of plastic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly group comprising a component and a holding element (2) a method for manufacturing a component of an assembly group.
