In a host machine to which multiple devices are connected, the multiple devices must be associated. In other words, when multiple devices best handled in an integrated manner are connected, a means is needed for grouping the multiple devices for management and control purposes. When it is detected that individual devices are connected, if the difference in connection times is within a connection allowable time range, said multiple devices are handled as a single device group.
