<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine for which cases having a plurality of kinds of diameters can be used while achieving shortening of the length in an axial direction of the rotating electric machine and simplification of its structure. <P>SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine 12 has a bottomed cylindrical case 50 for housing a rotor 61 and a stator 62, a lid portion 52 for closing an opening portion of the case 50 and allowing an output shaft of the rotor 61 to penetrate, a flange member 52 having a case inserting hole 52a capable of inserting the case 50 and an attaching portion 52b attachable to the outer circumference of the case 50 and available to attach the rotating electric machine 12 to an attaching object, and a spacer 53 detachably intervened between the flange member 52 and the case 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
