<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical imaging apparatus suppressing the effect of a motion artifact caused by a movement of an eye to be inspected. <P>SOLUTION: The optical imaging apparatus, which uses return lights of a plurality of beams to image, includes: a scanning unit for scanning, with each of the plurality of beams radiated to different parts of an ocular fundus, the same area in the ocular fundus of the inspected eye, at different times, respectively; an image generating unit for generating images using the respective return lights; an identification unit for identifying an area where a motion artifact occurs from images generated by the image generating unit; and an image forming unit for forming an image using images of the areas other than the identified area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
