<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an intermediate transfer member carry multicolor toner images for two images, and to transfer the multicolor toner images for the two images to two transfer materials, respectively, with conditions wider than before, thereby improving throughput. <P>SOLUTION: When executing two-piece control to make the intermediate transfer member 9 carry the multicolor toner images for the two images, and transfer the multicolor toner images for the two images on two pieces of paper 2, respectively, the intermediate transfer member 9 is rotated one round while carrying the second piece of a multicolor toner image (705) after transferring the first piece of the multicolor toner image on the first piece of paper 2, and before transferring the second piece of the multicolor toner image on the second piece of paper 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
