A lithium-ion battery whose inner short circuit can be suppressed to improve reliability, and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A filler is coated on an end portion of a first separator and an end portion of a second separator. In this manner, when a positive electrode, the first separator, a negative electrode, and the second separator are wound, for example, an end portion of a space formed between the positive electrode and the first separator and an end portion of a space formed between the first separator and the second separator adjacent to each other can be closed by the filler. As a result, by the filler, the entering of foreign substance (more particularly, metal foreign substance) into an electrode-wound body can be prevented.
