<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To splice a carrier tape and appropriately feed the spliced carrier tape without using a splicing tape in a controlled size and without a process requiring special management in advance, relating to the spliced carrier tape, a detection mark applied to the carrier tape, a method of feeding the carrier tape, and a component supplying apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The spliced carrier tape has a first carrier tape 44A on a downstream in a feeding direction and a second carrier tape 44B on an upstream in the feeding direction, which are spliced by a splicing member 61. The spliced carrier tape is equipped with: a first detection mark 71 provided in a position indicating a final component 43a of the first carrier tape 44A; and a second detection mark 72 provided in a position indicating a first component 43b of the second carrier tape 44B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
