<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which enables a user to carry out engaging work of a hook material by firmly grasping the tip end of a fastening base material without harming fingers etc. by the hook material. <P>SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes right and left fastening members 12 set on right and left edge parts behind a diaper body 11. A tab part 213 is set on a part outside in a lateral direction X of a hook material 22 in the fastening base material 21 of each fastening member 12.
