PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid danger caused by shining with direct sunlight into a driver's seat. SOLUTION: A device 100 for route search searches for a traveling route of a vehicle. An estimating part 101 estimates whether or not the direct sunlight radiates a driver's seat of a vehicle from the front face in the direction of the progress of the vehicle when the vehicle passes at a prescribed point. A searching part 102 searches for the traveling route based on the result of estimation by the estimating part 101. In more detail, the searching part 102 searches for the traveling route so that the points where the direct sunlight radiates the driver's seat may be in a prescribed proportion or below to all of sections on the traveling route.
