PURPOSE: A touch screen location detection apparatus and method thereof are provided to maximize detection speed of channels by processing all channels of a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A charging unit(210) charges a capacitor in a channel of a capacitive touch screen according to a charge control signal. A measuring unit(220) generates a detection signal for monitoring a multi-channel and combines a discharging current of the capacitor. A position detecting and controlling unit(230) generates a Walsh code corresponding to the number of the touch screen. The position detecting and controlling unit detects the touch location of the touch screen.
