The present invention discloses a casement type window, wherein a window sash frame in an open state at a certain angle can be locked to a window frame using a rack gear movement re¬ stricting device operated by movement of a sliding member. A casement type window according to the present invention includes a window frame fixed to a building and a window sash frame hinged to the window frame and mounted with a window glass. The casement type window comprises a corner hinge assembly mounted to a corner of the window sash frame at a position corresponding to the hinge; a link unit mounted to the window frame and having a link member connected to the corner hinge assembly to rotatably support the corner hinge assembly; and a handle unit restricting the rotation of the link member connected to the corner hinge assembly according to manipulation of a handle, thereby locking the link unit, wherein the corner hinge assembly is locked to the link unit in a state where the window sash frame is rotated with respect to the window frame, thereby keeping the window sash frame open. |
