<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular ball bearing preventing load from being applied to a seal groove part by assuming load to be applied to a bearing in advance, calculating a contact ellipse between balls and inner and outer rings on condition that maximum load is applied and surely avoiding the seal groove part by an extension line of a line connecting a ball center and a groove shoulder end part of the contact ellipse. <P>SOLUTION: In this angular ball bearing 100 of a single row of a narrow width, at least one of the inner ring 102 formed with a recessed step part 122b having a smaller diameter than that of an inner ring groove shoulder part 102c in a part of a circumferential direction and the outer ring 101 formed with a recessed step part having a larger diameter than that of an outer ring groove shoulder part in a part of the circumferential direction is provided, and the many balls 103 are arranged to freely roll between a raceway groove 101a of the outer ring 101 and a raceway groove 102a of the inner ring 102. A contact angle θis set so that the extension line L3 connecting a center O of the balls 103 and a groove shoulder part side end part Q of the contact ellipse formed in a contact part P2 between the balls 103 and the inner ring raceway groove 102a may not interfere with the recessed step part 122b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
