PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin particle reducing sedimentation in a nonpolar dispersant, having excellent dispersibility, and allowing electrophoresis independently by applying a voltage, without using a dispersant such as a charge control agent as the nonpolar dispersant. SOLUTION: This particle is obtained by dispersing a pigment under the presence of a pigment dispersant, in a base resin comprising a crosslinked (meth)acrylate resin, and the particle has 0.90-1.04 g/cm<SP>3</SP>of true density, in the crosslinked (meth)acrylate colored resin particle.
