PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing radionuclides which achieves the preparation for irradiation with charged particle beams and the irradiation with them and attains the transportation and recovery of manufactured radionuclides. SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing radionuclides includes: a container fixing means 2 with a fixing section 21a which can fix a container C for stowing a target material so that it can be attached and detached freely; a beam irradiation means 3 which applies charged particle beams transported from an accelerator toward the container fixing means 2; an advance and withdrawal means 4 which holds the container fixing means 2 and advances and withdraws it with the beam irradiation means 3 so that the means 2 can be attached and detached freely; a recovery means 5 which is placed in a position estranged from the advance and withdrawal means 4 to house the container C and recovery radionuclides in it; an attachment/detachment and transportation means 6 which is placed between the advance and withdrawal means 4 and the recovery means 5, attaches and detaches the container C to and from the fixing section 21a of the container fixing means 2 detached from the beam irradiation means 3 by the advance of the advance and withdrawal means 4 and transports the container C detached from the fixing section 21a between it and the recovery means 5; and a heating means 7 for heating the recovery means 5.
